Day 54: Little Girl and Muscle Tiger in a Snowstorm

Day 54:

Someone came up to me while I was working on this and asked why the girl was so close to the tiger. I wasn’t quite sure how to respond…

I mean, I’ve never been in a blizzard with a tiger before, but I think I’d be more worried about freezing to death than getting mauled. Who knows? The tiger might even be friendly!

Day 52: The Hills Are Alive With The Sound of Kitties

Day 52:

So, we were supposed to make an animation with After Effects for our midterm. I wanted to recreate the intro to The Sound of Music, but with a cat instead of Julie Andrews... So yeah, I decided to try my hand at traditional animation.

It seemed like a good idea at the time... After all, I was just trying something completely new for my midterm. What could possibly go wrong?

It... didn't go too well...

Day 51: Draw-A-Thon sketches

Some sketches from the Pratt Draw-A-Thon I went to. 12 hrs of drawing after three days of no sleep was hard, but I'm glad I went anyways.

Guess who's not gonna sleep tonight, tomorrow or the next day?

I also did some Bridgeman studies, but no one wants to see those…  So yeah. Afternoon well spent if you ask me. My professor may not agree tomorrow though…

Day 48: Plague doctor

Day 48:

So, I’ve got two paintings do by the end of this week. Both are about 20% done.

So logically, I just spent the last several hours doodling and painting this plague doctor. Aren’t I a great student?

I guess I won't be sleeping for the rest of this week. Again.
